INTROL T PRODUCTS ALL CONTAIN TOLYLTRIAZOLE (TT). TT is a mixture of 4 and 5 methyl benzotriazole. It is a well-known copper and high copper alloy corrosion inhibitor used in water treatment, engine coolants, metal working fluids, lubricants, and cleaners. TT can give synergistic protection with some other additives. Because of the low solubility of TT, formulating help may be required.

THE TRUTH ABOUT TOLYLTRIAZOLE

Pure tolyltriazole is white with no odor. Color and odor are caused by azo dye complexes and free amines that are impurities. Wintrol® T is white with low odor. Wintrol® draws the line on quality.
