ECENTLY ALL PRODUCTION OF DOMESTIC TOLYLTRIAZOLE ENDED. All 50% sodium tolyltriazole sold in the U.S. is manufactured from solid tolyltriazole manufactured in Asia or is imported directly from China. The color of the 50% sodium tolyltriazole will be directly related to the color of the solid tolyltriazole, as shown below:


All of the 50% sodium tolyltriazole made from Asian tolyltriazole contains impurities that are evident as a haze on dilution, except Wintrol^® T-50Na. The picture below shows a 10% dilution of Wintrol^® T-50Na and a typical 50% sodium tolyltriazole made from Asian tolyltriazole:

• 50% sodium tolyltriazole should not haze when diluted

• The Wintrol^® T-50Na haze specification is below 15 NTU
  
  
• Wintrol^® T-50Na is produced in Blue Ash, Ohio
